We did a 1 day trip, down the Amalfi Coast, and also stopped by Pompeii for a tour. Positano was absolutely gorgeous. It’s like the land that time forgot. There really weren’t many cars, and the coastline, is just amazing.
Pompeii
This was a rather fascinating tour. I would argue that they were very much an advanced society, with a pretty good lifestyle. They had theatres, bakeries, restaurants, brothels, all the fun things. It’s sad to note, that the rich people, most likely made it out alive, but the slaves and the poor people, were most likely left behind, to take care of the homes and businesses. Funny how some things never change.
